Shady Hill speedway is racing tonight 7/12/14

Plymouth Speedway Posted: 07-06-2014
The summer series at Plymouth Speedway was called by the track officials so i will keep you posted but am currently looking at a new date for this race.

7/5/14 Posted: 07-06-2014
Well it was a long weekend for most of us. things kicked off at Shady Hill Speedway on Friday night with the Fire Cracker 50 for the mods. The IMODs were in action and had a 20 car field split up in 3 heats. The winners were Chris Arihood, Jon Robbins and Mike Sullivan. After finally getting to our feature is had some excitement but Bob Fortner came up with yet another feature win.
Saturday night at Plymouth Speedway with some of the best heats races of the year we had 2 winner, again Chris Arihood with his 2nd win in 2 night, and Tim Sullivan collects another of his many this year. But during one Mod heat a light down pole came down which caused officials to call the races for the night.

Opening night Posted: 05-04-2014
Well after being postponed at Kankakee Speedway we got night 1 at Shady Hill Speedway in the books.
We had some good clean heats with Tim Sullivan and Mike Barger winning the heats. Tim was strong in his heat and was favored to win his first feature of the season, but on the parade lap of the feature he broke a rear trailing arm bolt and ended his night. Finally getting the feature started Mike Barger and Chris Balazs both looked strong, and after a good clean battle for the lead Chris got out front and never looked back and got his first feature win of the season. Congrats to all the winners this weekend and racing will resume next Friday night at Kankakee Speedway for their opening night!

NEW INTAKE TO EVEN UP WITH 602 CRETE MOTORS Posted: 01-29-2014
This intake will help the guys with the standard IMOD motors compete with the 602 crete motors that are now legal. The 602 is a sealed motor and must remain with all factory seals!
Edelbrock 7104 Performer RPM Q-Jet intake manifold
Fits 1955-1986, Chevrolet 262-400 cu.in. V8s with spread-bore (QuadraJet) or square-bore carbs.

Like the standard Performer Series, the Performer RPM Series starts out with a dual plane, low rise manifold with Edelbrock's patented 180 degree firing order. Then they add larger plenums and runners to match the high lift cams and other performance enhancements built into high performance street or competition engines that run up to 6500 RPM. They give you the ultimate in street high performance. Not for emissions equipped engines.
